Some Bio Stuff
I must admit that bios aren't that fun to write. You yourself write them, but you have to make it sound like someone else did. I guess this lets you brag without feeling like an ego-maniac. Well, I have bios for various shows or projects I've worked on, but for "my" site I'm going to keep it simple and just list things I've done that are worth mentioning. Lame? Maybe.

Acting

  • National commercials; Miller Lite, Bud Light, Twix, Toyota, and EA Sports
  • Created, direct, write for, and act in a unique and successful sketch comedy show called Fries on the Side.
  • Worked on the USA show, Monk. Tony Shalhoub is great -- loved him on Wings -- the whole experience was incredible.
  • Had a good role on American Family with Edward James Olmos.
  • Was the lead in a small-budget feature film called Dreamland. Screened at Universal Studios. Supposed to be in video stores, but who knows?

Writing

  • I wrote a book called Flash MX 2004 Killer Tips. It's a great book for beginners. A collection of helpful tips for Flash.
  • Have written two Flash online courses that are offered in Universities all over the world.
  • Been a contributing author on several other Flash books - this means I wrote some chapters in them.

Design & Technical Stuff

  • Worked for a lot of big companies doing Flash while at Saatchi & Saatchi and TBWA/Chiat/Day. Some of them are Energizer, Toyota, Infiniti, and Nissan. The work was pretty lame though; not challenging.
  • Created entire search engine front-end in Flash 4. The only one I know of and with good reason. It worked, but come on, Flash 4?!
